#167 –   How To Stay Active With Osteoarthritis/Ft. Alyssa Kuhn

Arthritis can be a barrier to leading a healthy lifestyle. When exercising with osteoarthritis, it’s important to remember that trying new things can be helpful in continuing to be active. There is so much misinformation about osteoarthritis that can actually discourage people from being active. Using conservative management consistently is key. Remember that progress will be slow and may take weeks to months to see results.

How To Stay Active With Osteoarthritis

You may encounter joint pain and osteoarthritis if you want to be active as you age. Being honest with yourself about how much you are actually moving is vital because we tend to overestimate how much we move, especially if we are dealing with pain.
