- Inexperience: If they are new to the gym, they may not know how to use the machines or do certain exercises properly, which could lead to feelings of awkwardness or intimidation.
- Ageism: Society often emphasizes youth and fitness, and older adults may feel out of place in environments typically associated with younger individuals.
