The 5 Step S.P.A.R.K. Method For Women Over 50

    Summer is almost over, and with it, the beautiful lazy days of relaxation and less stress. Still, time to kick back and do nothing – right? Well, almost. While balance and relaxation are essential, it’s imperative to keep your bigger goals in mind so you can stay on track. Action is the difference between dreaming of the life you have always wanted and living it. That’s exactly why I created The 5-Step S.P.A.R.K. Method for women over 50 so that you can take action and get results.

    Getting started on a goal of any kind can be difficult. But there are ways to increase your motivation, and by implementing systems, you reach your goals faster and with tangible results. 

    The S.P.A.R.K. Method is a strategic way to take action on your fitness goals. Each of the programs that I designed for you, my freebie, the 5 Spark Lifestyle Strategies, or my Empty Nest Reboot, is based around the S.P.A.R.K. Method. My programs are designed to take action. Again, there it is, the word action.  

    So let’s get started!

    The 5-Step S.P.A.R.K. Method For Women Over 50

    S – SCAN

    your life and assess what holds you back from achieving your goals. We have big plans, and we want to lose weight, get in better shape, take a class, and be the super mom, the superhero at work, but often we don’t scan where we are at in our life. We don’t assess where we are and what we potentially can achieve with our goals. Often people feel overwhelmed while thinking of goals, and we can solve that by taking a real inventory of where you currently are in life and how it makes you feel.

    P – PLAN

    a bold journey. Once you’ve assessed and scanned, it’s time to gain clarity on your goals to achieve what you’ve set out to do. That which is not measured cannot be fixed, so you need to set specific goals, not large ones like, “I want to eat better.” That can mean all kinds of things. Does that mean eating more fruits and vegetables? Or eat more protein? Planning means nailing down specifics. Outline clear and exact steps that need to be taken to reach your goal.

    A – AMPLIFY

    your power and create a solid plan to move forward. You don’t need to start something new to have a great goal. Say you want to run in a marathon, but right now, you only walk. Don’t relinquish your power by taking things too quickly and wanting to run 6 miles a day from scratch. It isn’t safe and doesn’t feel right. Focus on one action step at a time and build on what you are already doing well. 

    R – ROADBLOCKS

    are entirely typical and should be expected to happen. Seriously, nothing ever goes without a glitch. It doesn’t matter whether it comes to your fitness or your real lifestyle, it doesn’t matter. Everything is planned and ready to rock. And sure enough, something comes across that doesn’t make it smooth. So anticipate roadblocks, and have a strategy to overcome those roadblocks. For instance, go to that running store, get yourself an excellent running salesperson who can teach you about shoes, and find the right shoes to avoid pain or injury that will make you give up. 

    K – KICKASS

    and design a new lifestyle! The best part of doing things the SPARK way is living life on your terms and bringing out the best in you. So let’s kick ass. Let’s take action with the new habits and plan we’ve created by going step by step in the spark system and doing it with attitude, spunk, and vibrancy. Mindset is everything when it comes to turning dreams into action into reality. If you tell yourself that you LOVE to exercise, are good at it, and have fun doing it, it changes the entire experience.
