Chandra Beckman is part of the elite group of women who have flown the United States Air Force fighter jets. As a young girl, she was captivated by the fast-paced and driven environment of an Air Force career and sought to overcome the social barriers that presented it as a man’s world. Never one to back down from a challenge, Chandra succeeded in her goal and has flown T-37, T-38, F-15C, F-117A, and T-6A military aircraft, as well as the Piper PA-28 Cherokee, Cessna 172, and Beechcraft Sierra C-24-R civilian aircraft in her personal time. She never thought that as a fighter pilot, she had to fight for her life.
From Fighter Pilot To Fighting For Her Life/ft. Chandra Beckman
How a fighter pilot had to dismiss the medical system to fight for her life!
