Women over 50 may experience stress due to a variety of life changes and challenges. This stage in life often coincides with significant transitions such as children leaving home, retirement, or the onset of menopause, all of which can induce stress. Health concerns often increase with age, and managing these, or caring for aging partners or parents, can also contribute to stress.
Moreover, societal expectations around aging can lead to feelings of invisibility or irrelevance, further heightening stress levels. It’s important to acknowledge these stressors and seek help when needed, such as from mental health professionals or supportive social networks. So let’s reduce stress with the stop, look, and listen strategy.
In this quick tip episode, I’ll show you the following:
- How do we know when we are stressed out
- How to prioritize your day to reduce stress
- What do your body and mind crave
- 3 Strategies that help reduce stress instantly
